Description
The United States Mint announces a requirement for a reliable and responsible contractor to provide technical and professional advisory assistance support services to the Mint?s Sales and Marketing Group. All efforts will be coordinated with Mint resources. The Mint anticipates the award of a performance-based, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type task order contract that will include such tasks as the (1) establishment and day-to-day management of an eBusiness Solutions Program (eSP) Office, (2) development of a detailed plan to consolidate and reorganize the U. S. Mint?s Customer Care Center, (3) development of a plan to achieve the marketing and distribution objectives established by Congress for the Golden Dollar coin (4) development of sales and marketing business performance analyses (5) performance of other business management support analyses and activities. These tasks are for evaluation purposes only and may not bear any relationship to task(s) ordered under any resultant contract. Other details are included in RFP. The RFP will be released on or about April 9, 2002. Please note, in accordance with 31 U.S.C. ?5136, no provisions of law governing procurement or public contracts are applicable to the procurement of goods or services necessary for carrying out Mint programs and operations. Contractor employees, representatives and/or subcontractor must be able to successfully pass Mint security investigation. The applicable NAICS for this procurement is 541519. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. All requests for RFP should be referred to the Point of Contact, Renea Morton, Contract Specialist, at E-Mail address rmorton@usmint.treas.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. Pre-proposal conference is scheduled for April 26, 2002, 10:00 AM at 801 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20220. Prospective offerors are requested to provide, via email to the POC, a list of attendees, including social security numbers and date of birth, no later than April 19, 2002, to allow for security clearance. No person will be admitted to any Mint field facility without a Mint security clearance. RFP questions must be submitted in writing not later than April 23, 2002 to POC, emails are acceptable. Proposals are due NLT 3:00 pm. on Friday, May 10, 2002.
