Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award a contract to provide Solid Waste Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located at 1101 John A. Denie Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38134, as well as, the Satellite Prison Camp located at 6696 Navy Road, Millington, Tennessee 38053. Estimated yearly contractual requirements include provision of the following equipment: one 30-yard compactor; two 20-yard open-top containers; one 40-yard open-top container; one 30-yard open-top container; one 8-yard open-top container; and four 8-yard front load containers. Pick-ups will be required on a weekly schedule for the compactor and front-load containers. Pick-ups of open-top containers will be scheduled on a ?will-call? basis. The resulting contract will consist of a Base Year period that runs 12 consecutive months from the date of award with four 12-month option periods for renewal. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices for equipment rentals, pick-ups, and all fees associated with solid waste removal. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. This will be a full and open competitive procurement and all responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration. The North American Industry Classification System code for this services is 562111 and the applicable small business size standard is $10.5M. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 29, 2003 and the anticipated Date of Award is October 1, 2003. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions.
