Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE., THIS SOLICITATION IS CLASSIFIED AS UNRESTRICTED. Indefinite Quantity Reseal Taxiway & Pavement Repairs, Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS. Furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform the work specified. The work includes removing and replacing the existing joint sealant in concrete joints, cleaning and resealing random cracks in concrete, partial depth repair of damaged areas, replacement of full size concrete slabs, repainting airfield markings and incidental related work. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery (IDQ) type contract with a base year and 3 possible options. The entire solicitation, including plans and specifications, is available for viewing and downloading at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective Offerors MUST register themselves on the web site. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web from the web site. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Technical Inquiries must be submitted in writing 15 days before Proposals are Due to the address listed above, or faxed to (601) 679-2147, Attn: Barry Leaver. All bids submitted by responsible sources shall be considered. The projected date for issuance of solicitation documents is 11 Augugust 2003. The estimated date for bid opening is 10 September 2003. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $500,000. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 3 possible one year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code for this Solicitation is 237310, Airport runway construction. The associated Small Business size standard is $28.5 million.
