Description
The purpose of this announcement is to provide all potential offerors that plan to attend the IMOD Fort Riley Site Visit on 30 November 2005 and 1 and 2 December 2005 with a briefing and agenda/itinerary and maps with directions to Fort Riley from th e Kansas City Airport and to the meeting location within Fort Riley. As far as a room number at the meeting location is concerned, the DOIM will have personnel at the meeting location to ensure that all attending potential offerors are sent to the appropr iate room number. The briefing and maps have been posted on The Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site under Solicitation Number W91QUZ-06-R-0002. There is no Amendment to Solicitation Number W91QUZ-06-R-0002 as a result of thi s announcement. This announcement is for information purposes only. In addition, any potential offerors planning to attend the IMOD Fort Riley Site Visit must access Fort Riley at the Camp Funston entrance, 12 Street Exit Gate, which is the route all trucks and commercial carriers must come through off of Highway 18. When arriving at the Access Control Point, potential offerors need to inform the Access Control Officials that they are here for the DOIM Site Survey. The Access Control Officials will have all the passes ready to issue to the potential offerors. Any foreign nationals must possess an international drivers license or they will not be issued Gate Passes or allowed to drive on Fort Riley. If they do not have an international drivers license, a Government representative within Fort Riley will have to meet them a t the 12 Street entrance each day and drive them on and off post. The Government will continue to notify Industry of all announcements and postings related t o the IMOD acquisition via the FedBizopps. The Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site will continue to be the only source for all future postings and documents related to the IMOD acquisition.
