- The purpose of this action is to award a new sole source contract to L-3 Communications, Intelligence Solutions Division for the procurement and sustainment of the Typhon Blue Force Tracking (BFT) iridium based kits, devices, and to provide technical support, training, and warranty of said items. L-3 Communications will also perform the program management, data and configuration management, training, production, logistics and sustainment related to the BFT.
