Description
Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and the test program in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. One Contract Line Item Number, items, part numbers and quantities are three (3) each of the following: 1) MVSAT 16 Watt Ku-band BUC, P/N SSPB-K16-CSE; 2) MVSAT Ku-band LNB, P/N 1509HAF; 3) MVSAT Six foot section of waveguide, P/N AMC-206-FLT-72B-4; 4) MVSAT Spares Transport Case, P/N: 0800-1198 STA-052506-01 024933-01; and 5) MVSAT Antenna, P/N 1139-111-2. Date for delivery is May 31, 2009. Place of delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, 4800 Bradford Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805. These spares are for the MVSAT System which is the primary means of external communications for the supply and support of fielded THAAD batteries. The provision at Far 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial, applies. Evaluation/selection of offers will be based on technical acceptability, low offer, and ability of offeror to meet required delivery date. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items (Mar 2005), with its offer. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items (Sept 2005) and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items, apply. The following DFARS clauses apply: 225.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items; 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is DX-A2. Signed and dated offers must be submitted to Missile Defense Agency, Building 5222 Martin Road, Attn: MDA/DACD, Joe Garcia, Contracting Officer, VBII, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898, at or before 3:00pm (CST) at or before the above time and date.
