- Sole source for purchase of 50 polygraph chairs. A polygraph chair of inferior design or material quality can have a detrimental effect in achieving accurate polygraph results. A slight movement by an examinee during a polygraph examination can sometimes be construed as a possible countermeasure or false reaction to a specific question. A polygraph chair must be rigid to prevent inadvertent movement for all examinees. The sole source required certain technical specifications which were not available from other vendors.
