CT Classification Code: 335999 FSC: 6150 Set Aside:Unrestricted Contracting Office Address Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), 6923 28th and Dessert Storm, Fort Campbell, KY 42223-5355 Description: Synopsis/solicitation for Uninterruptible Power Supply, Fort Campbell, KY, is amended as follows: 1. Response to questions as follows: a.QUESTION 1: What is the desired scalable size of the UPS? (I.e. total kVA that you would like to scale to) RESPONSE 1: The required size of the UPA is 30KVA with the ability to upscale if needed in the future b.QUESTION 2: Will the entire future expansion of the system be required to have internal batteries? If so, what will be the desired runtime? RESPONSE 2: The attempt is the minimum the footprint, runtime at a minimum must be 30min. QUESTION 3: Will the input and output feeders to and from the UPS be sized for the future expansion? If so, what is the over current protection device (OCPD)? RESPONSE 3: Yes c.QUESTION 4: Will an external maintenance bypass be needed? RESPONSE 4: Yes d.QUESTION 5: Will there need redundant power modules (N+1) for Day 1 installation? RESPONSE 5: Coordination will be made with DPW electrician and installer for seamless transfer of power. We at the Ft Campbell 911 Center will still have to continue to operate have power to our communication servers and computer to maintain the ability to receive 911 call and radio communication with all first responders. We require minimum down time as possible, i.e. 4-5 or less e.QUESTION 6: Can the supplier bid just the UPS and not the installation? RESPONSE 6: The solicitation is for equipment warranty and maintenance. Partial quotes will not be accepted. f.QUESTION 7: Will the start up of UPS be during normal business hours or after normal business hours?
