- The Department of Oceanography at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) has a requirement to deploy one ocean flux buoy in the Beaufort Sea during 2016, and one in the Beaufort Sea and one near the North Pole. The NPS AOFB ™s will be collocated on the same ice floes as Ice Tethered Profilers being deployed by WHOI.
