- This notice is a synopsis in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.101 for a proposed contract action to Contract W52P1J-11-D-0045 and W52P1J-11-D-0082. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to award a modification against contract W52P1J-11-D-0045 and W52P1J-11-D-0082 for the following: 1.Extend the ordering period for the existing Security Support Services Contracts with performance in Afghanistan in support of multiple DoD agencies. The period of performance will be 03 May 2018 to 02 May 2019 against contract W52P1J-11-D-0045 and 01 June 2018 to 31 May 2019 against contract W52P1J-11-D-0082, IAW FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 2.Extend the current Afghanistan Task Orders W52P1J-11-D-0045 0K07, W52P1J-11-D-0045 0K08, W52P1J-11-D-0045 0K09, W52P1J-11-D-0045 0K10 and W52P1J-11-D-0082 0K02, W52P1J-11-D-0082 0K03, W52P1J-11-D-0082 0K04, W52P1J-11-D-0082 0K05, and W52P1J-11-D-0082 0K06. 3.Increase the Ceiling against the SSS-I/A requirement. The expected signature date for this action is by 30 April 2018. OPTIONAL: Vendors can submit a capability statement describing available assets, i.e. resources, weapons, up armored vehicles, NTV's, uniforms, and mobilization timeframe to meet USG requirements on or about 02 May 2018. The Capability statement will include Company Name, Point of contact, address, telephone, email addresses, CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and all security experience performed in Afghanistan. Submitting your company name by merely responding to this notice doesn't constitute being considered as a viable vendor who could potentially fulfill the USG requirement. Additionally, submitted capability statements shall contain verification showing appropriate business license issued by the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AIS), Personal Security Company (PSCs) issued by the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan, and verification that your company is compliant with ANSI/ASIS PSC.1-2012 (Refer to DFAR 252.225-7039(4)). Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government will in no way be bound to this information if the above stated modifications are not executed.
