This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-97. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990, with a small business size standard of 15 million dollars. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, on behalf of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 22 is seeking to procure services of fire extinguisher inspection and testing. The combined Synopsis will outline the tasks and responsibilities of the Contractor in relation to the visual monthly inspection of Portable Fire Extinguishers in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) currently version 10 Standards, at the time of testing the most current NFPA standards shall applies. This is an inclusive Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract is for the base period of one (1) year with the Government s option to exercise four (4) additional one-year option periods
