Description

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) are co-sponsoring this event to bring together business and government for a discussion about emerging technologies including artificial intelligence that will change how the Department of Health & Human Services will acquire goods and services in the future. This event will provide a targeted opportunity for businesses and HHS contracting professionals to be part of an interactive discussion with key government officials. Participants will also hear from a panel of senior acquisition experts who will be live coaching three businesses on how to strategically market their companies to the federal government. MCCC and HHS support business success and recognize the need to connect business with government and business to business. This event will offer that connectivity and the opportunity to collaborate and build relationships. HHS will feature the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) who will share upcoming FY 19 IT and Professional Services requirements. There will also be an Exhibit Hall where attendees can speak with large prime contractors who have excellent records teaming and subcontracting to other companies. HHS Small Business Specialists from CMS, FDA and NIH will also be available to meet with attendees. Who Should Attend: Small and large businesses engaged in the federal market space or are looking to enter that space for the first time. HHS 1102s, CORs and Program Officials.
