- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Philadelphia, PA, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract Vericor Power Systems LLC, 3625 Brookside Park Ste. 500, Alpharetta, GA 30022-3718. The proposed acquisition will provide for the overhaul and repair of the ETF40B PPG, Part Number (P/N) 20-20020-02. The planned acquisition will provide engineering and technical services required for the Teardown, Test, and Evaluation and repair of the ETF40B PPGs.� ETF40B PPGs are necessary spares for the fleet whenever the Landing Craft, Air Cushioned (LCAC) ETF40B engines are downed, either temporarily or permanently, due to damage. This procurement will prevent the LCAC craft from being out of service for an extended length of time.� The ETF40B PPG is the core of the ETF40B engine. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,� as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The required delivery date shall be defined in the solicitation. The applicable North Vericor Power Systems LLC (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811310 with a size standard of $7.5 million.
