Page 2 of 2 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of qualified sources with the capability to provide SPECIAL NEEDS TRANSPORTATION (SNT) for Orlando VA Health Care System (VAHCS) facilities located in and around Orlando, Kissimmee, Daytona Beach, and Viera, Florida. The period of performance for this requirement is 7-months, beginning March 01, 2020 through September 30, 2020. The Contractor shall furnish to the Government all labor, equipment, supplies, supervision, travel, and other services necessary to provide wheelchair bound/wheelchair van, or other mode of transportation specially designed to transport a disabled person within the OVAMC catchment area which consists of six counties: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard, Volusia and Lake. SMT services will occasionally be required to beneficiaries that live in the adjacent counties that border the six counties under the OVAMC catchment area. This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 485991 Special Needs Transportation and the small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability as a prime contractor to perform Special Needs Transportation services. Capability statements shall include the following business information: DUNS number Organization Name & Address Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and email) Business size under NAICS: 485991 Special Needs Transportation Socio-economic status (e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, WO, SB, other than small, etc...) Narrative that addresses the organization s qualification and ability as a prime contractor to perform SPECIAL NEEDS TRANSPORTATION (SNT). Responses should include: the number of years your firm has provided SNT services, size of the current vehicle fleet & number of qualified drivers, mobilization timeframe (Upon notice of award, the Contractor shall state the time needed (if any) to prepare, organize, and have resources in place); and, list any applicable certifications or business licenses.
