- Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) awarded this�fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(2) and�in accordance with FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This�fixed price supply contract was awarded�to Fairbanks Morse, LLC, for the replacement of emergency diesel generator crankshafts on an Ohio Class submarine, with a period of performance of 04MAR-04MAY 2020. Competition was limited to Fairbanks Morse, as they are the known source for this requirement. Competition was limited to�avoid an impact to the operational readiniess of the vessel and to avoid degradation of the Navy's mission.
