Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE TO SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY SOLICITATION: 47PF0020R0055 DESCRIPTION The� General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region (Region 5), will be issuing a solicitation for General Construction Services at the Ralph H. Metcalfe Federal Building located at 77 W. Jackson St. Chicago, Illinois 60604.�� The purpose of this project is to renovate and expand the current Childcare Center.� The scope is to renovate the existing 2000 SF center of the first floor, and construct an additional 6000 SF on the second floor.� This will involve the demolition of existing space to the shell; building 3 new classrooms; renovating staff offices; replacing and install new ceilings; install new lighting and controls; install new finishes; install films on existing glazing; install new window treatments; install a new HVAC system; install new restrooms; and install a new security system.� The expected dollar range for this procurement is $1,000,000 to $3,000,000. The performance period is 443 calendar days upon receipt of on-site Notice to Proceed.�� The contractor is to provide all management, supervision, manpower, equipment
