Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT JULY 14, 2020 FOR THE RENOVATE 11A FOR USP 797/800 PROJECT. The Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY prepares IV and chemotherapy for veterans. The solutions are mixed onsite in two labs; one preparing IV s on 1B and a separate lab preparing chemotherapy on 9A. Both labs are constructed to standards governed by the US Pharmacopeia (USP). The concern is that if one of these rooms are not functional for any reason there are no other locations that can prepare the compounds on site. This new lab will serve as a backup for both the 1B IV compounding room and the 9A oncology compounding lab. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 Million. The magnitude of construction per FAR part 36 is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
