DUE DATE UNCHANGED.�PROPOSALS DUE JULY� 8, 2020. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 06/09/2020 SOLICITATION RFP IS POSTED.� SITE VISIT JUNE 15, 2020.� PROPOSALS DUE JULY� 8, 2020. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/21/2020 This is a synopsis /�pre-solicitation notice. This announcement is NOT the soliciation / Request for Proposal. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project work consists of fencing and gate installation for two (2) Fire Stations � Corona Fire Station and Temescal Fire Station � located in Corona, California, within the Cleveland National Forest. This is a construction project.� Construction Wage Rates (former known as Davis-Bacon wage rates) shall apply to any resulting contract. The awarded contract shall be firm-fixed-price. The Government estimate for this project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code for this acquisition is 238990 � All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with small business size of $16.5M in annual revenue. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Corona Fire Station Work shall include: Installation of approximately 675 linear feet of new wrought iron fencing six (6) or eight (8) feet high with pickets on top, posts set in concrete footings; removal and disposal of existing six-foot high chain link fencing, all posts and footings. Installation of three wrought iron gates with curved pickets on top which will include one manual swing pedestrian gate and two manual swing driveway gates (or automatic sliding gates) with all gate posts set in concrete footings. Removal and disposal of existing gates, gate posts and footings. Installation of Government-provided metal signs on all gates. Temescal Fire Station Work shall include: Installation of approximately 1370 linear feet of new chain link fencing six (6) or eight (8) feet high with 3-strand barbed wire along the top; removal and disposal of existing fencing, all posts and footings. Installation of two chain link fence gates with 3-strand barbed wire along the top which will include one four foot wide manual swing pedestrian gate and one twenty foot wide manual swing driveway gate (or automatic driveway gates) with all gate posts set in concrete footings. Removal and disposal of existing gates, gate posts and footings. Installation of Government-provided metal signs on all gates. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The full scope including associated specifications and drawings shall be provided with the solicitation RFP. ACQUISITION INFORMATION The Forest Service intends to issue the solicitation Request for Proposals (RFP) on or about JUNE 8, 2020. Proposals are anticipated to be due by JULY 8, 2020. This acquisition shall be 100% set-aside for Women-owned small businesses [WOSB]. All proposal submission�instructions and evaluation information�shall be provided with the solicitation RFP. Interested parties are hereby notified that the solicitation is available exclusively on the Contract Opportunities website. https://beta.sam.gov. The solicitation, attachments, and amendments (if any) will be published for viewing, printing, and downloading from the Contract Opportunities website only. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor Contract Opportunities for the release of amendments, changes, or other information pertaining to the solicitation. No hardcopy/paper versions of the solicitation or amendments will be distributed. Contractors must be registered in the SAM database in order to receive a contract award from any USDA Forest Service activity. Prospective offerors must be registered in SAM prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM information at www.sam.gov. Offerors may complete Representations and Certifications online via SAM at www.sam.gov. Ensure DUNS and CAGE Code numbers are provided with the proposal. DUNS at www.dnb.com. Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database to be eligible for a Government contract award. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror.
