- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the solicitation; quotes are being requested. The solicitation No. 36C10X20Q0100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective August 4, 2011. The NAICS Code is 332992, Small Arms Ammunition Manufacturing. The Small Business size standard is 1,250 employees. This requirement is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside and only qualified vendors may submit bids. Only offers quotes from firms that are certified to meet both SDVOSB (must be certified in VIP) status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the SDVOSB program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement to procure the supplies for the Law Enforcement Training Center in North Little Rock, AR. These commercial supplies are being procured as brand name or equal. Salient Characteristics: The item number, description and brand name of each item are provided in the Item Information table. Performance: The contractor shall deliver the requested supplies to the VA Law Enforcement Training Center in North Little Rock, AR. Delivery: Delivery is within 30 days after ARO. Expedited delivery is preferred. Contract Type: The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract with 4 option years. Inspection and Acceptance Terms: Supplies will be inspected\accepted at destination. Quote Pricing: The Offeror shall provide pricing for the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) in accordance with the above specifications:
