- Description
- The contractor shall serve as the primary technician for producing and replicating wargame and exercise design (aka game) components. As necessary, the contractor will print, copy, collate, staple, cut, and laminate game components. The contractor will also, count, sort, and organize game pieces needed to produce or replicate games.� The contractor will produce and assemble copies of games based on government designs and provided government developed examples of all game components and materials. Assembled games will be placed in government provided boxes. The contractor will be expected to cover boxes with government provided artwork. The contractor is encouraged to provide recommendations for changes to product development that save time or resources without substantive changes to game design or mechanics.� Change acceptance is at the discretion of the COR. The contractor will also be the primary technician for maintaining and operating the principal tools used to create wargames materials. These tools include but are not limited to, 3D printers (Makerbot Replicator+, and LulzBot Taz 6), Cricut machines, large format plotters, laminating machines, and other cutting and printing tools. Common game components include game cards, three-dimensional objects such as game tokens or other game pieces, player and facilitator handbooks, game boards and maps, player and facilitator place cards and name tags, player references cards and rule sets. Additional game components, which the government will provide, include but are not limited to dice, various tokens, geometric objects, and other commercially available gaming objects. The contractor will used government provided equipment and government provided supplies and parts to perform all tasks associated with replicating wargame and exercise design components. The contractor will notify government presentative when necessary supplies need to be ordered or reordered. The contractor is encouraged to provide recommendations for production equipment and apparatus that would increase quality or efficiency; however, the government has no obligation to fulfill these recommendations.
