- INTRODUCTION: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUCEMENT to determine the availability and capability of businesses to provide the following services. PROGRAM BACKGROUND: The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), as one of only two federally-operated school systems, is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD). DoDEA is globally positioned, operating 165 brick-and-mortar schools in eight districts located in seven states, 11 foreign countries, Guam, and Puerto Rico. DoDEA employs over 8,000 educators who serve more than 72,000 children. DoDEA also has a fully accredited virtual high school located in Virginia with teaching hubs in Europe and the Pacific. �In order to maintain a safe and healthy school environment for faculty and students DODEA Europe seeking to obtain a contract for maintenance service and limited custodial services within (DoDEA-E) which �are operational, neat, healthy, sanitary and safe. This contract shall provide routine building maintenance, non-routine building maintenance, and some custodial services. Therefore, contributes to the school district�s mission of providing an exemplary education that inspires and prepares all DoDEA-E students for success in a dynamic, global environment. Servicing area will consist of DoDEA facilities in Germany, UK, Belgium, Italy, with the �potential� inclusion of Turkey, Bahrain, Spain and Netherlands. SOURCES SOUGHT: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement 561210 - Facilities Support Services. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing operating staff to perform a combination of support services within a client's facilities with the corresponding size standard of $41.5M. This Sources Sought Synopsis is requesting responses from businesses that can provide the required services under the NAICS Code. To assist DoDEA in making a determination regarding the level of participation of business, you are encouraged to provide a response to the following: Business name and address Name of company representative, title and phone number CAGE Code Capability Statement, to include qualifications and experience in performing projects of similar size, nature and complexity to meet the Governments requirement. At least one specific example of experience in performing the work stated above for the U.S. Government or a local Government. Statement indicating the ability to meet the requirement in all of the following locations: Germany, Belgium, Italy, UK, with the �potential� inclusion of Turkey, Bahrain, Spain and Netherlands. Contractors who wish to respond to this should send responses via e-mail no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) 03 Aug 2020 to George.Ross@dodea.edu.��Interested contractors should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than (10) pages) demonstrating their ability to provide a comprehensive building maintenance program as indicated above.� The response should not exceed a 10 MB e-mail limit for all items associated with the response.� Responses must specifically describe the contractor�s capability to meet the requirements outlined in this notice.� Oral communications are not permissible. � DISCLAIMER:� This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes.� It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� This Sources Sought does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� Further, DODEA is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought.
