THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The purpose of this notice is to obtain information on Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, or Small Businesses (SB) interests, capabilities, and qualifications to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Responses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. � The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, requests letters of interest from SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, and SB CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS interested in performing construction work at the Tomah VA Medical Center, 500 E Veterans Street, Tomah, Wisconsin, 54660. This project will use NAICS Code: 238220 � Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, Size Standard $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. Project Description: Project # 676-14-105 Replace Boilers B415 project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and insurance for the replacement of three existing high-pressure steam boilers, boiler utility connections, selected boiler associated equipment and selected boiler support piping. Included is the complete removal and replacement of boiler control devices and programming operations.� �In addition, project will include abatement of lead paint and asbestos within Building 415the facility. Estimated Period of Performance: Project duration is estimated at 490 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). This is anticipated to be divided into phases: NTP & Kick-off Meeting NTP + �20 calendar days - Mobilize and commence work on Phase I work NTP + 200 calendar days � Complete Phase I; Start Phase II work NTP + 350 calendar days � Complete Phase II; Start Phase III work NTP + 470 calendar days � Complete Phase III NTP + 490 calendar days � Complete Punchlist, As-builts, Training & Maintenance, Project Close-out Interested sources shall submit the following: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, and business status. 2. Indicate the primary nature of your business, any teaming agreements or arrangements, self- performance and intentions of subcontracting program, including Set-Asides; 3. Documentation relating to capability of performance. Provide two (2) examples of projects similar in scope, complexity, and cost magnitude of project description above. 4. Letter from the surety regarding the maximum bonding capability for a single contract action as well as the total aggregate bonding capacity. �Total submittal shall be no longer than (12) twelve pages in one .pdf file or word document. Responses are required to be sent via email to anne.vossler@va.gov,� no later than 4:00 pm CT, Monday, July 6, 2020.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential qualified contractors before determining the method of acquisition.
