DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work, consisting of a base and one option, entails maintenance dredging shoal material from Palm Beach Harbor. Base work includes dredging the Entrance Channel from Sta. 32+00 to Sta. 47+00 to a depth of 39 feet and Sta. 47+00 to 61+01.45 to a depth of 37 feet. Both base dredge areas have a 2-foot allowable overdepth. Option A consists of dredging the Settling Basin to a depth of 35 feet with a 1-foot allowable overdepth. The Settling Basin lies adjacent to the north edge of the Entrance Channel between Sta. 32+00 and Sta. 40+70. All material will be placed in the permitted nearshore placement area which lies immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to turbidity monitoring, endangered species monitoring, and sea turtle trawling. Project Location: The project is located in Palm Beach Harbor in Palm Beach County, Florida. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between�$1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation will be issued on or about�14 August 2020�and proposals will be due on or about�14 September 2020. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA).
