- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION FOR: COMPLETE UPPER & LOWER BODY GYM ASSEMBLY SYSTEM The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, located at 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL 36083, is announcing their requirement for: COMPLETE UPPER & LOWER BODY GYM ASSEMBLY SYSTEM. It is anticipated that a single firm-fixed price contract will result from this solicitation. This solicitation will be a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) set-aside. Vendors must be verified in the VIP database (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/) at the time of offer submission to be considered for award. Offers from unverified VOSBs will be considered unacceptable and will be ineligible for award. Award will only be made to an eligible VOSB firm in the VIP database at the time of award. The Principle NAICS Code is 71340: Fitness and Recreational Sports Centers. The size standard is $8.0 Million. The PSC is 7830 Recreational and Gymnastic Equipment. The RFQ reference is 36C24720Q1059 (Complete Upper & Lower Body Gym Assembly Systemt) and should be referenced in all correspondences/inquires. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the FBO website at https://beta.sam.gov/ on August 14, 2020, with quotes due on August 19, 2020 @ 12:00 p.m., EST. Quotes received after this day and time will be ineligible for award. Contractors are advised to be responsible for checking the website periodically for amendments. No hard copies will be provided. The Request for Information period to ask questions initially closed on August 5, 2020 and will not be extended. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. No response to this notification is necessary. The sole purpose is to provide interested parties with a preliminary notice of the forthcoming solicitation.
