- NOTICE OF INTENT THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.� A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Norfolk District, intends to enter into a Firm Fixed-Price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) with Jacobs Government Services Co. 1100 Glebe Road Suite 500 Arlington VA 22201-5785.� The contract is for architect-engineering to provide re-design and construction phase services for the Fuel Maintenance Hanger/Dock.� The period of performance shall be approximately 200 days.� The work shall be completed in accordance with the Unified Design Criteria, USACE�s design guide, and integration of the geographic conditions and site constraints.� Jacobs Government Services Co. is the Designer of Record.� This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, it any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.� All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.
