- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires services to perform environmental cleaning and disinfection services. Due to the presidentially declared National Emergency and World Health Organization declared pandemic of COVID-19, the Army Corps of Engineers requires daily disinfection services within Clock Tower Building (building 205), Clock Tower Annex (building 217), and East Annex (building 340) on a sole source basis with QCII, LLC., Wapello, Iowa in accordance with the 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold and only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561720 with a size standard of $35M. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any SAM registered firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer in the form of a capability statement. Supporting evidence in sufficient detail that demonstrates the ability to comply with the requirement listed must be furnished to the point of contact listed below by 21 August 2020 at 10:00pm CT. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, will not reimburse for any costs connected with supplying sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed.
