- THIS IS AN INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Regents of the University of California San Francisco because they have the necessary expertise needed to prepare and provide on-going training to the VA, The Center of Excellence in Primary Care Education (COEPCE) and Education for Patient Aligned Care Team (EdPACT) departments. There is an affiliate agreement between Department of Veterans Affairs and Regents of the University of California San Francisco. A draft of the statement of work is attached. If you believe that your company is capable of performing training and support in accordance with the statement of work, please provide your information and capability by responding to angela.gerlitzki@va.gov by August 17, 2020 by 8a.m. HST. The applicable NAICS Code is 541990 and the size standard is $8 Million. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a notice of intent to award a contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you decide to respond to this Intent to Sole Source Notice, you must answer the following questions when responding: What is your company s Socioeconomic Status? (ex: small business, large business, SDVOSB, etc.) Provide DUNS and/or CAGE Code. Ability and experience in managing similar projects. Include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience on contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. List of Projects (Government and Commercial) that are similar in scope and size. Anticipated Teaming Arrangements (if any). If plan on subcontracting, demonstrate that you will meet the limitations on subcontracting per FAR 52.219-14 for Small Businesses; VAAR 852.219-74 for SDVOSB/VOSB. GSA Contract Number if applicable.
