- Description
- The NIEHS Molecular Genomics Core (MGC) provides cutting edge techniques and expertise in the field of gene expression and genotyping analyses within NIEHS. The ability to maintain continuity of experimental procedures is crucial to the success of the NIEHS Division of Intramural Research (DIR) and their efforts in continuing to perform the mission of the NIH. The Bio-Rad QX200 Droplet Reader will enable NIEHS to pursue these studies with the most appropriate instruments for the study. This instrument will allow NIEHS to perform high-throughput analyses that are critical to completing these studies in a timely and cost-efficient manner. If NIEHS is unable to utilize this instrument, lower-throughput methods that would have to be used for this project would take months longer and may not provide the reproducible data that has been historically provided for investigators.
