Description
In accordance with FAR 5.203(b)(d) and 6.302-1 the National Park Service, Yosemite National Park, intends to award a non-competitive contract to Avail Technologies, Inc. (DUNS 105953470) to supply and install Computer-Aided Dispatch, Automatic Vehicle Locators, Automatic Passenger Counters (CAD-AVL-APC), and visual announcement message boards for sixteen government-owned transit buses. The intent is to contract with the original equipment manufacturer to activate equipment that was previously installed on Yosemite�s public transit buses, to replace components that are no longer compatible over various manufacturing dates, and to add equipment so that buses can communicate with one another and with a central dispatcher. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 and the small business size standard is $30 million. This is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation within fifteen (15) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis which will be considered by the agency. Capability statement shall demonstrate Contractor/Vendor's ability to supply and install per manufacturer, Avail Technologies, Inc. brand Computer-Aided Dispatch, Automatic Vehicle Locators, Automatic Passenger Counters (CAD-AVL-APC), and visual announcement message boards for sixteen government-owned transit buses. The awarded contractor will provide for the original equipment manufacturer to activate devices and software, thus providing an operational CAD-AVL system with APC capabilities for the existing fleet of transit buses. Contractor/Vendor submitting a capability statement or quote shall be aware of the following requirements: (1) Maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database that also includes completed small business representations and certifications (https://sam.gov), (2) Contractor/Vendor must be a small business in accordance with the prescribed NAICS and small business size standard specified above and as represented in Contractor/Vendor�s own small business representations and certifications in SAM.gov, and (3) All invoicing and payment for service is electronic. Contractor/Vendor's business invoice is uploaded as an attachment to the electronic invoice that is submitted using the Department of Interior's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
