- TITLE: HHS CONNECT INITIATIVE AND VISUALIZATION PLATFORM COVID-19 SUPPORT SERVICES This requirement is to support COVID-19 Pandemic under the flexibilities authorized in FAR Part 18.��As such, this acquisition is being conducted as a sole source direct award to Colorado Regional Health Information Organization, a non-profit organization. An assessment of core competency of health information exchanges has demonstrated the need for an entity/organization who is able to electronically connect a wide range of health care entities to one another to support the appropriate sharing of electronic health information. ONC�s experience has shown that increasing connectivity has compounding beneficial effects, particularly when those efforts are technical standards-based. This contract is expected to provide use cases, identify technical standards development where appropriate, and outline requirements for pilot implementations to include increased data accessibility and scalability, especially as it relates to Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources� (FHIR).
