Description
Amendment 0001 The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to (1) address questions received from a vendor and (2) remove VAAR Clause 852.237-70 INDEMNIFICATION AND MEDICAL LIABILITY INSURANCE (OCT 2019) from the Solicitation and the Technical Capability portion b (#6). Insurance was added to #5. The language in the Technical Capability portion b. of the Solicitation has been revised and is included herein (see below). All other information contained in the Solicitation remains the same. The questions/replies are as follows: 1. Are the 200 users all VA employees? Will they be the same users for one base year and two option years? Response: The same 200 monthly users. Parking is going to be assigned by seniority (EOD date).  As new employees come into the VA they will be assigned to the off-site parking lot and the most senior person parking in the lot will move back into the garage. 2. Does the VA plan to use this garage for Patients/Visitors/Contractors (who will be using the garage for hourly/daily use)? Response: The parking area will only be used by VAPHS employees. Revised language under Technical Capability paragraph b: Quoters shall at a minimum address the following: b. Facility Operations to include: 1. Address of parking facility and distance (in miles) from the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System; 2. Identify the number of parking spaces available and if they are co-located; 3. Identify any additional fees associated with parking at the location identified and explain; 4. Provide a copy of the snow/ice removal procedures; 5. Copies of any and all current occupancy permits and/or licenses and insurance; 6. Quoter s Representations and Certifications per FAR Provision 52.212-3.
