DESCRIPTION OF WORK:�������� The project work consists of maintenance dredging of shoal material from the Federal navigation channel and Port Everglades berthing areas and will be divided into a Base (Federal) and Option A (non-Federal). The Federal project consists of the Entrance Channel, 2 Turning Basins, Southport Access Channel, and Turning Notch. The non-Federal project consists of the Port Berths. The project will entail the dredging of the Outer Entrance Channel (OEC) to the required depth of 45 feet; the Inner Entrance Channel (IEC), Main Turning Basin (MTB), Southport Access Channel (SAC), and Turning Notch (TN) to the required depth of 42 feet; North Turning Basin (NTB) and Port Berths 1, 2, & 3 to the required depth of 31 feet; and Port Berths 7, 8, 9, 10 (Slip 1), 4, 5 (Slip 2), 12, 13, 14, 15 (Slip 3), 16, 26, 27 & 30 to the required depth of 42 feet. All dredging areas will incorporate 2 feet of allowable overdepth. All dredged material from the project will be disposed of in the Port Everglades Ocean Dredge Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) located approximately 2.5 nautical miles from the eastern end of the Entrance Channel except for the material dredged from the Entrance Channel up to Station 74+50 which will be placed in the Beach Disposal Area (D/A-B). Additional work includes, but is not limited to, construction vibration monitoring, beach tilling, endangered species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and maintenance of traffic. NAICS Code: 237990, size standard $30 million. Magnitude of Construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.� PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The request for proposal will be issued on or about 03 August 2020 and proposal will be due on or about 02 September 2020.� Award of the subject Task Order will be made utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures.� The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance.� See Request for Proposal (RFP) for details. �� The request for proposal will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Contracting Opportunities website at https://beta.sam.gov/.
