Description
8/14/2020: 001 - The 59 wing construction has unforeseen complications to completing the re-roof construction. �Therefore, that part of the project is remove it from consideration. �The TPO and EPDM alternatives for the causeway and the 68 wing roofs remain as per �the SOW. Clarification: �On the issue regarding reusing the insulation on the 68 wing. �The government indicated in the SOW that this was a partial tear-off roof, meaning that some of the insulation may remain � as long as the remaining insulation is in acceptable condition. �Refer the SOW references of the International Building Code and the National Roofing Contractors Association standards of practice. Amendment 001 Attached �Work for this project requires the Contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery, and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: 1.�� Remove and dispose of Single-Ply roofing membrane. 2.�� Remove identified rooftop equipment, curbs, and penetrations; infill roof deck openings. 3.�� Full or partial tear-off of existing roofing system as directed. 5.�� Install additional wood blocking as necessary to accommodate additional roofing insulation and to support sheet metal flashing and trim. 6.�� Add to, or replace as necessary, fascia sheet metal; maintain existing profile. 7.�� Repair or replace damaged expansion joints. 8.�� Install retrofit roof drains. 9.�� Install new or additional roofing insulation as directed. 10. Provide tapered roofing insulation as necessary to achieve proper roof drainage. 11. Install new fully adhered Single-Ply roofing system, flashing, and manufacturer�s roof penetration devices. 12. Incorporate mechanical equipment, curbs to remain, and penetrations into the new roofing system.� Follow roofing system manufacturer�s flashing recommendations.
