Description
The Army Contracting Command NJ - Fort Dix, is issuing this solicitation which will result in a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order. Work shall include but not be limited to Replace Underground Storage Tanks located at the Romney United States Army Reserve Center (WV038) located at 11 Industrial Park, Romney, WV 26757-1101 All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Due to the complexity of this project it is highly recommended that the Contractor visit the worksite prior to submitting a proposal to perform the work. The Period of Performance will be 120 Calendar Days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The required response date is included in the Instructions to Offerors, in the solicitation. * Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made to the responsive, responsible contractor whose total proposed price is the lowest priced technically acceptable that meets or exceeds the requirements of the Scope of Work. In order to be determined technically acceptable, the contractor shall submit the capability statement, the required certifications, the proposed schedule of work, the written narrative to support the cost data (Price Breakdown Template) and the warranty documentation. Please refer to the ""Instruction to Offeror"" section for the full breakout of the requirements. *It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the webpage for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation Amendment *Questions 1.�Are there more current drawings available for the project other than the ones supplied and dated 1 AUG 77? Answer 1. No there is not. 2. Are there tie-in details available for the new piping to be installed? Answer 2. The pipes leading to the facility are not necessarily tied down. The UST is and tie down specification are to be IAW manufacturer recommendations. . 3.What are the specifications for the new piping to be installed? Answer 3. We specify 1/2"" however this would have to be field verified as the boilers and circ pumps play a large part in what size. 4. Is there a Bill of Materials available for the project? Answer 4. No we will not be providing a BOM list. 5.�What are the testing requirements for the new piping as well as the tank being installed? Answer 5.Testing is covered in paragraph 11.5.1.12. (SOW) BLUF: all testing IAW manufacturer recommendations *Please continue to refer this solicitation for any additional updates
