- San Antonio Missions National Historical Park - Rehabilitation and Stabilization of the Mission Espada North Gate per the scope of work. Clarifications based on the site visit conducted August 12, 2020. Budget for archeological monitoring for all days of ground disturbance. Unexpected findings will be dealt with as a change order. Acceptable amount of Spanish Colonial material loss means that we understand that when the reconstructed walls are removed that some Spanish Colonial stone may be adhered to the modern wall and be disturbed. Geofabric or other barrier must be between Spanish Colonial wall and any reconstruction. Reconstructed wall may go on top of Colonial wall with that barrier. Include subcontractor information in your bid package. Include resumes for key personnel. No special mortar or lime - NPS standard mix with Portland is acceptable. Lift the wall off as much as possible intact, map/number stones if rebuilding is necessary. Rebuild as close as possible to existing.
