- ***This notice is to update�the general public that a solicitation�for the upcoming Bearings Reform Project �is estimated to post on or around 31 August�2020. *** ***This notification is to inform all interested parties that the solicitation scheduled to post on 31 Jul 20 will now�post on or around�14 Aug 20. *** ***Synopsis�amended to include a revised SYNOPSIS NIIN LIST.*** Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing a solicitation for a commercial, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the procurement of bearings and bushings items categorized under Federal Supply Class (FSC) 3110-Un-mounted Anti-Friction Bearings; 3120-Un-mounted Plain Bearings; and 3130-Mounted Bearings in support of various weapon systems. �The solicitation will be a 100% small business set-aside utilizing FAR 12. �The period of performance will be a 5-year base period and one, 5- year option period for a maximum 10- year performance period. This acquisition will include consumable items managed by DLA. The population consisting of 685 NSNs may be solicited and awarded under the initial contract. There may be additional NSNs added to the contract throughout the performance period.� Shipments may be within the Continental United States (CONUS), outside CONUS (OCONUS), and FMS support. Consumable items are shipped FOB Origin with inspection/acceptance (I/A) at origin.� The NSNs, part numbers, and annual estimated quantities for the population are included as an attachment. Any supplies to be furnished under this resulting contract will be ordered by issuance of a delivery order. Small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks or newly manufactured materials are invited to respond to this synopsis.� If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. The final contract award will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.� The Government may award multiple contracts for this action. �In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the RFP will not be available to requestors. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
