- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12405B20Q0109 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 334516, Analytical Equipment Manufacturing. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08.� The USDA, ARS, CMAVE requires various supplies and Software License and Device Warranty for the Oxford Nanopore GridION instrument. This includes the following items: Software Licence & Device warranty -GridION (The software licence and device warranty contract ensures your instrument is performing optimally by providing the latest up-to-date hardware and software). Software and Hardware updates on release. Flow Cell (R9.4) - Bulk order of 48 (A MinION Flow Cell (R9.4.1) is a consumable used with MinION and GridION devices. It contains the proprietary sensor array, Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and R9.4.1 nanopores suitable for all 1D experiments. The MinION and GridION Flow Cell�contains up to 512 nanopore channels for sequencing DNA or RNA in real time).
