This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for the United States �Department of Agriculture, �Agriculture Re search Service, �prepared in accordance with the format to Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written notice, will not be issued. Solicitation Number �1011267 - is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation �document �incorporates �provisions and �clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06 dated June 5, 2020.� �This solicitation shall be reserved exclusively for small businesses� with a small business size standard of 500 employees - referencing North American Industrial Classification Code 333999. �� �SHIP TO ADDRESS � 600 E. Mermaid Lane - �Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania 19038 ��� Please make sure You include (Not to Exceed) Shipping Charges to the address listed directly above � when submitting Your quote. � Minimum requirements � Item needed: �Pilot scale edible oil refiner Detailed specifications and salient characteristics: System specifically designed for the refinement of crude edible oils, not general-purpose equipment Processes oil in batch mode Capable of operations for removing free fatty acids, color, and particulates Oil contact surfaces must be stainless steel Reaction vessel must have these characteristics capable of processing crude oil loads of at least 20L (vessel must be significantly bigger than 20L to process 20L loads) variable speed agitator/impeller heating and cooling connections for vacuum, reagent input sight glass bottom port for drain/filter connection pressure gauge Heated reagent vessel connected to reaction vessel with at least 2L volume Hopper designed specifically for introduction of solid oil-bleaching materials Filtration system must have these characteristics Pressure leaf filter with capacity for at least 1L of filter cake Pressure gauge in filter feed line Pump in filter feed line Connection to bottom port of reaction vessel Compressed air connection Vacuum pump Appropriate for 208V, 3 phase, 60 Hz power�� On site installation and training included Clauses/Provisions Incorporated by reference: This requirement incorporates one or more clauses by reference with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
