Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price annual contract for Industrial Specialty Gas delivery and Bottle Rental for Surface Warfare Engineering School Command (SWESC) Great Lakes located at Naval Station Great Lakes, IL 60088. The subject supply will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is from 01 October 2020 to 31 March 2026 from contract award. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 325120. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 02 August 2020 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.beta.SAM.gov. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments directly to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web sites. Potential vendors shall submit solicitation N0018920QG136 and applicable amendments in accordance with the incorporated Instructions to Quoters and send via email attachment to sharon.dexter@navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
