Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Carl Zeiss Meditech, INC. (Zeiss) for preventative maintenance on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Visual Field (VF) machines for one base year (10/01/2020 to 09/30/2021) plus the provision of four (4) option years at the Bath VA Medical Center and the Rochester Outpatient Clinic. The NAICS code is 811219. - This requirement is to provide annual preventative maintenance services for the OCT and VF s (listed below) at the Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810 and the Rochester Outpatient Clinic (ROPC), 260 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY 14623, with a period of performance from 10/01/2020 to 09/30/2021, with the provision of four (4) option years. This agreement shall include all parts, labor, and travel. Contractor shall be an authorized service provider for Zeiss. - Zeiss is the only known authorized provider for service agreements on Zeiss equipment. - THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 21st, 2020 at 12:00 ET. Responses shall be submitted via email to Nathan.northrup@va.gov.
