PURPOSE The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to find qualified vendors and to assist Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded on a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside basis.  The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 334510 with the Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees.  If the Government determines there are qualified vendors this requirement, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website.  The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement.  INTRODUCTION This requirement is for the purchase of the Brand Name Only Esophageal Ph Monitors for Hampton VAMC Gastroenterology Department. The Esophageal pH monitoring is a test used to evaluate for gastroesophageal reflux disease and to determine the effectiveness of medications that prevent acid reflux. This test measures the amount of acid refluxing or backing up from the stomach into the esophagus (food pipe).
