- The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Cold Jet LLC. (Cage Code: 0JZ06) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to provide Factory Startup and Training for the IceTech Pelletizer Model PR150 (NAICS: 811310 per the purchase description).� Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required startup and training for this equipment.� Therefore, the Government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis to Cold Jet LLC., the only authorized U.S. Distributor for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of IceTech pelletizer PR150 � IceTech INC2 � purchased by Cold Jet LLC. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
