Description

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Navy Medical Forces Atlantic intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Agfa US Corps in Greenville, SC for the Preventive Maintenance and Support of the government-owned DR400 X-Ray unit and the detector.� The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance to include 24 hours a day, 7 days a week telephone support, replacement� and preventive maintenance parts, x-ray tube coverage to support operational both on-site and remotely at the Navy Medicine and Readiness Training Command Indian Head Detachment in Patuxent River, MD.� The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) This notice will be distributed solely through the betaSAM website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the betaSAM website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811219. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined the Navy Medical Forces Atlantic requirement can only be provided by Agfa US Corps as they are the sole provider to provide the service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 0900 am, EST, 25 January 2021 by email to Regina Flowers, Contracting Officer, at regina.d.flowers.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
