- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Professional Records and Information Management (PRIM) for Document Scanning Services at the following location: 10100 San Marcos St. Sabana Abajo Carolina, PR 00984 A purchase order will be issued for a period of 40 labor days minimum. Starting at the date of award. Due to the uniqueness of this requirement, time constraints and the geographical location, no other location is acceptable. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR13.106-1 (b)(1). This service is being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. This notice is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting these capabilities in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contact. Written response to this notice must be provided to the IRS Primary Point of Contact office no later than Friday, January 15, 2021 by 3:00 PM Eastern Time. It is solely within the discretion of the government to evaluate your capabilities, and to make a determination to compete this contract action. Any questions regarding this action should be directed to the IRS Primary Point of Contact. Justification: The vendor is selected for the following reasons: Location of services The secure, safety and disclosure nature of the requirement Time constraints The vendor has previously performed services for local IRS Agents Vendor Capabilities Good Past Performance Questions should be directed in writing and sent via email to Yolanda McDaniel, Contracting Officer, at Yolanda.R.McDaniel@irs.gov.
