Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Market Research and Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran owned, and Women owned Small Business firms. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, intends to solicit quotes for two (2) Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item Service purchase orders(s) for Pest Control Services to include spiders, flying/stinging insects (excluding honeybees), ants, venomous snakes, racoons, ground squirrels, pack rats, and mice. The required service areas include Reclamation lands around: � Minidoka Dam located in Minidoka County, Idaho. Area to be treated includes a total of 19 locations (buildings/sewage treatment lagoons/switch yards). � Palisades Dam located in Bonneville County, Idaho. Area to be treated includes a total of 41 locations (buildings/residential housing/switch yard) Reclamation intends to award two (2) purchase orders to one (1) or multiple entities based on location and capability. Each purchase order will be for on (1) year base period and four (4) one (1) year option periods. Reclamation cannot provide personnel or equipment to complete the requirement. Therefore, the awarded contractor(s) must provide all management, supervision, labor, and supplies. The contractor(s) personnel must have necessary expertise, qualifications, and experience to assure performance of the work in accordance with sound, safe and efficient management practices. The proposed contract duration will be five (5) years. Sources are being sought for firms with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561710 with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.0 Million. Responses are requested with the following information: 1. Contractors' name, address, points of contact with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. 2. Business size/classification to include any designations as Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, Woman owned, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, or 8(a) shall be indicated on first page of submission. 3. Description of capability to conduct all tasks in accordance with Pest Control Services and proof of licensing in the State of Idaho. Include what locations of what your company is able to provide services for and what services can be provided. NO RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED BY FAX. Interested parties can email their capabilities and interest in this service to Daniel Walker at dwalker@usbr.gov. Responses must be received by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Friday, February 26, 2021. Responses will not be returned. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, ONLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. No award will result from this Sources Sought. This notice does not constitute any commitment by the Government.
