Description
This notice is prepared in accordance with FAR 5.207 and is not a request for quote (RFQ). RFQ number 70Z03821QH0000073 is assigned for tracking purposes only. This is a notice of the Government�s intent to award one (1) firm fixed-price purchase order to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Bell Aerospace & Technologies of Boulder, CO 80301-0301, on a sole source basis for Teardown, Testing, and Evaluation (TT&E) of Inmarsat Antenna, P/N 513738-519, quantity six (6) each (Ea), with an optional quantity of two (2) Ea. The Inmarsat Antenna is a commercial item as defined in FAR 2.101 and is used on the Coast Guard�s C-130 Aircraft. �������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� Period of Performance will begin at award through delivery. Set Aside: The statutory authority for this acquisition is 41 U.S.C. 1901(c), as implemented in FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1). The Contracting Officer has determined that there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns; therefore, the small business set-aside is dissolved. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation that will be considered by the agency. Interested parties are advised that the minimum qualifying standard for technical acceptability is the possession of an OEM license to perform the work. Anticipated date of award:� On or about April 12, 2021.
