Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina intends to make a single award for the provision of Non-Emergent Medical Transportation Services for the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner, North Carolina. This contract will consists of furnishing all necessary equipment, labor, materials to transport FCC Butner inmates to outside medical appointments at local Physician/Hospital offices in accordance with the Statement or Work and specifications.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 � Ambulance Services. (Size Standard: $16.5 Million dollars). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted.� The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm fixed prices resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated solicitation date will be on or about April 7, 2021 with a due date of April 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST and an Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is May 1, 2021.� The resulting contract will include a base year from the EDOA through 12 months from EDOA with four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government.� The Government anticipates requiring specific Ambulance and Medical Transportation Services for the base period and the twelve - month option periods. �All services shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at beta.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. In order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the size standard specified above.� Each bidder's SAM registration will be reviewed by the Government to confirm that your business size meets the small business size standard requirement. All bidders are urged to double check their SAM registration and update as necessary, including the size metrics information. � Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
