- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), has a requirement to�provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, supplies, and related transportation for installation of an underground electrical distribution system-Isabela,Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Tropical Agriculture Research Station.� A detailed description of the required system is included in the attached drawings/specifications. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 and is being set-aside and competed between qualified small businesses. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. A site visit will be scheduled for interested contractors.� A site visit notice will be posted shortly and will include the date and time for the visit. Proposals must be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Randal Barnett, via email at randal.barnett@usda.gov.� It is the contractor's responsibility to insure its proposal and any supporting documentation is RECEIVED by the Contracting Officer in a timely manner. � Solicitation Amendment 1 is attached along with a Site Visit Notice.
