- Description
- Modification to upload the required SFF1449 Request for Quotations to be signed and accompany all quotes. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, located in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, intends to issue a solicitaiton for the requirements of all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to install 5 Baxter Single Rack Ovens, Model No. OV500G1EE at United States Penitentiary, Hazelton as prescribed in FAR subpart 12.6. A Statement of Work describing all policies on delivery of material and expectations of the contractor along with specifications of the product can be found in the attachments.� A site visit prior to bringing any equipment in to verify the route will be permitted after award. Delivery will be to the outside warehouse. BOP Staff will then assist in escorting the contractor to the rear dock of the institution where the product will be off loaded for transportation to the Food Services Department. There are no stairs to navigate and only one 90% turn that has been measured for approved removal/installation. This solicitation is�restricted to 100% Small Business as prescribed in FAR 19.502-2(a), FOB Destination. �The contract type is a firm-fixed price.� The Government will award to the responsible offeror (s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government with consideration to past performance and price.� The solicitation will be made available on or about March 31, 2021, and be will be posted to the General Services Administration�s Federal Business Opportunities website:�beta.SAM.gov. All future information about this acquisition, to include solicitation amendments, will be distributed through this website.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation.� Solicitations should be read thouroughly as the too contain proper instructions for bidding. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST).
