Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037, intends to solicit quotes for the supply and installation of fifteen (15) Top Door Alarm brand door alarms on the corridor doors of each patient room within the Acute Inpatient Mental Health unit at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS), 2515 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. These alarms shall be the photoelectric beam detection type manufactured by Top Door Alarm (Door Controls USA, Inc.) to detect presence of potential ligature activity before pressure is applied to the door. Contractor will be responsible for a completely functioning and commissioned system. Contractor shall also provide up to 8 hours of Top Door Alarm certified support for staff training. All products must be installed by a Top Door Alarm (Door Controls USA, Inc.) manufacturer certified installer. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside that will be conducted using FAR Part 13 procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 334290 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The basis of award will be lowest price. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 14, 2021 and the solicitation is anticipated to close on or about April 28, 2021. No solicitation is available at this time.
